Are here with the family while traveling from Disneyland to our next destination Pismo beach. We've been eating a lot of good food on vacay so I wasn't expecting to be too impressed with a sandwich. This guy took his time making fabulous sandwiches. I had the Italian and it was mouthwatering. So delicious. Everyone else loved theirs too. The owner is really friendly and the place is extremely clean with what looks like state of the art equipment to freshly slice the meat for your sandwich. Wow. I'm not really a sandwich person although I have learned to appreciate a good one. This is top tier you won't want to miss it. Easy off the freeway and parking. Clean restroom.
I've only had one sandwich that I would say was better in my entire life. Sadly i can't remember where that was. I need to figure that one out. It was somewhere in SoCal we were heading out to Vegas after for husbands job...
But this was a very very close second place and the other place was closer to San Diego maybe. -

Only found this shop because my friend wanted sushi on our way home and there's a place next door that came up on a search.
Truly one of the best sandwich places I've been to and would absolutely recommend if you are aware that sandwiches can be more than what you find at Subway chains. The man who mad our sandwiches took so much care and time on each of the sandwiches we ordered and when bit into them on our drive we were extremely impressed.
ALSO, they make their own pickles and they were SO delicious.
Will likely make this place a necessary stop on all future LA trips. -

I love everything about this place- even the lowkey/hidden location in the same lot as the gas station right before you head into Hollywood from the valley.
Erik is an absolute gem and makes each experience memorable with the time and care he puts into making every sandwich pure perfection
I've had a few sandwiches here including the OTM pickle sandwich - that's right, sub the bread for a huge pickle and thank me later! Their italian sandwich is loaded with all the meats, piled high with veggies (and extra pepperocini for me)! I need to go back to try the Russian Sandwich- I'm already drooling! -

Love the food at this place but recently became aware that there are rats right next to the shop so I wont be coning anymore. The shop is in a gas station which is fine but theres open dumpster to the side where the parking lot is and they were roaming around when I parked. Its too bad because the I love the menu and the service but cannot get pass that .
